Certified MicroSD Cards For Windows Phone

With all of the news going on about NoDo and updates, in general, I had almost forgotten about the promised certified MicroSD cards that were supposed to come for Windows Phones. If you are not already familiar, only certain Windows Phones even have a slot for expandable memory and those that do can only use certain types and speed memory for it to operate properly. You can check out my own personal Windows Phone memory story here.

Engadget is reporting, through an anonymous users tip, that certain At&t stores are now carrying certified MicroSD cards for Windows Phones.

The 8GB Class 4 microSDHC cards are $32 each and have a Windows Phone sticker located on the top right-hand corner of the packaging (see photo).

You can check out the remainder of the post and extra screenshots on Engadget here.
