Slashgear and a number of other sites are reporting that another Windows Phone update may be heading to phones as soon as May 3rd. The update is not to include any new functions or features, but is set to patch some known security issues dealing with website certificates issued by Comodo.
Microsoft has already patched the desktop version of Internet Explorer to deal with the nine known certificates and is committed to patching the mobile version very soon. We still do not know whether the patch will be delivered via the Zune PC software or over the air, but that it is coming in early May.
Stay tuned here for further information and I will update as necessary.
