New HTML5 Version of SkyDrive Now Available

This is huge news because it affects the primary cloud solution for Windows Phone users. Microsoft and the Windows Live team unveiled their new revamped version of SkyDrive today and it is very nice. SkyDrive is a great cloud tool for Windows and Windows Phone users and offers a free 25GB of cloud storage as long as you have a LiveID.

SkyDrive was very good before but it always felt like you were in a browser. The new HTML5 version is smooth and fluid and very nice-looking and feels like a native PC application, especially when you take advantage of the pinning feature in Internet Explorer 9. Instead of writing a lengthy piece about the new version, I figured I would just post the video that was originally on the Windows Live blog and you can have a look for yourself:
