Recycled Xbox Game Twin Blades Returns to Windows Phone

Some users may remember Twin Blades as it was one of the original Xbox LIVE-enabled games for Windows Phone and was then pulled shortly after because of mature content. The game which originally debuted in October 2010, was very graphic, and because Windows Phone currently lacks a rating system for their games, had to be revised.

The title is back on Windows Phone and is considered this weeks Xbox LIVE release. The only notable change, from what I can recall, is the blood’s color, which is now green instead of red. I’m sure there are other changes as well, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played the game and can’t recall any other obvious revisions. Here is the Marketplace description:

Twin Blades is a frantic shooter game set in a medieval era with unique manga-like graphics.
Help the nun defeat evil with some heavy zombie-killing action across multiple environments, venture through the city market, the cemetery, a chapel in ruins and the city’s outskirts to purge the town of all its living-dead inhabitants.

Buy new skills and powers and upgrade them as you progress day after day. Manage carefully your energy by slicing zombies with your mighty scythe in order to use the destructive powers of your artillery!

The game features:

– 6 range weapons ranging from machinegun to explosive nukes.
– Upgradable skills for your character which can be bought and trained.
– An immersive storyline with epic boss encounters!
– Different kind of zombies behaviours, shake your device to get rid of grabbers!
– 10 exclusive new environments discoverable at different times of the day or night

You can re-download Twin Blades: The Reaping Vangua for $2.99 by search for “Twin Blades” on the Zune PC software or on your Windows Phone.
