Fujitsu IS12T Caught on Display in Tokyo Store

The buz about the Fujitsu IS12T lately is that it might be the first device released with the final Mango Windows Phone OS. If a picture found on by Tezawaly is any indication, the rumored release date of August 25th may be accurate.

The devices in question were found in the Biccamera Yurakucho store in Tokyo, Japan and were apparently not charged, according to WMPoweruser. Check out the picture below to see the army of devices set to be released.


Microsoft and Fujitsu Team Up to Unveil First Mango Device [Updated with Video]

We’ve seen and heard rumors that Fujitsu’s first Windows Phone was coming to Japan and coming in August. Then we saw notifications for tonight( 26 July 2011) for an event which featured the first Windows Phone Mango device, the Fujitsu IS12T. The device was leaked, along with a Samsung device for the US, a few weeks back at the Partner Conference held by Microsoft. The IS12T comes with mango pre-installed and features 32GB of internal memory, a waterproof casing, 3.7″ LCD screen, 13.2MP Camera w/flash and comes in three colors (Citrus, Magenta and Black as seen below).

The IS12T will be available in Japan on the carrier KDDI and is expected to come in between late August and early September.

First Mango Device (Fujitsu IS12T) Unveiling July 27th

Microsoft recently unveiled the Windows Phone Japan website and according to website which leaked the August release for the Fujitsu IS12T, Microsoft, the carrier KDDI and Fujitsu-Toshiba are sending out invitations for an event where they plan to unveil Japan’s first Windows Phone. The event is planned for July 27th and marks, of course, the first readily available Mango handset to be sold.

Things are clearly starting to move quickly for Mango and before you know it, we’ll be seeing the highly anticipated “Sea Ray” available for purchase.
