HTC has announced via their Facebook page that they will be holding an event on September 1st to show the world what’s next. The specifics on what will be happening at the event are not yet known, but it’s believed and rumored by many that the September 1st date coupled with the previous rumor of a Mango unveil on the same day leaves speculation that HTC might use this event to announce new Windows Phone Mango devices. Here’s the invite:
It’s been a while since we last met, so we thought that we’d invite you to come party – and most importantly see what’s next.
There will be the usual food, drinks, music and a few phone treats for you to enjoy.
It would be great to see you. If you’re planning on attending, please RSVP to let us know. Just remember that it’s an event for people over 18 and it’s on a first come, first served basis.
As ever you can always follow the conversation via our Twitter Tag: #HTCQB
Look forward to seeing you there!
P.S. For those who are a little camera shy, please read the terms and conditions (http://goo.gl/ZBdaX) as we will have the photographers at the event
Everything you see and hear about this being a Windows Phone event is purely speculation at this point, so don’t be surprised if nothing mango-flavoured comes from all of this, but we will be keeping a close eye out on September 1st, just in case.
